New York Heritage Traveling Exhibits

RRLC has three New York Heritage traveling exhibits available for members to borrow and host at their organizations. These physical exhibits are available for a one month loan period. Each exhibit has a companion, online exhibit as well. You may explore the online exhibits below and use the provided forms to make a request.

  • Immigration in New York State, 1650-1950
    This new exhibit focuses on historic immigration to New York State and begins with the arrival of Dutch settlers and continues through the end of the World Wars. This physical exhibit is available for a one month load period and consists of four, 33″ x 7′ retractable banners.

  • Recognizing Women’s Right to Vote in New York State
    This exhibit charts the development and evolution of the Women’s Suffrage movement in New York State. This exhibit is available for a one month loan period and consists of five, 36″ x 6′ retractable banners.

  • Making Sense of the Census in New York
    The U.S. Census is the only comprehensive or “complete count” of the entire population of our country. It is the only source of data for ensuring everyone has a voice in Congress. Explore the history of the U.S. Census in this online and physical exhibit.  This exhibit is available for a one month loan period and consists of four, 33″ x 7′ retractable banners.
