Participants who attended the March 8th Poverty Simulation are highly encouraged to attend this session.
Participants will spend time discussing their thoughts after considering the poverty simulation experience. We will also discuss how to use our increased awareness and empathy gained from the simulation to improve our daily practices at the library. By the conclusion of this session, participants will have a personal action plan.
Registration is open to staff from Pioneer Library System member libraries, RRLC member libraries, and Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES library staff.
The session will be held at the Palmyra Community Library, 402 East Main Street, Palmyra, NY 14522.
This program is co-sponsored by the Pioneer Library System, RRLC and Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES. Funding is also being provided from the Harold Hacker Grant.
