Emotional Intelligence plays a critical role in self-awareness and relationship management, and it can have a profound impact on professional success. In this interactive workshop, library managers and staff will have the opportunity to:
— Define Emotional Intelligence (EI) and the significance of the four domains of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management
— Discover personal EI strengths and development areas to address
— Develop EI skills for an optimistic outlook and improved relationships
— Use case studies for real work application and enhancement of skills in challenging situations
This session combines presentation with highly interactive activities. Participants will build knowledge and skills which can be immediately applied for meaningful enhancements in the library or cultural heritage workplace.
