This one-hour session will present a brief overview of the Ancestry Library Edition available to OWWL public library users. Navigation of the website and its search features will be demonstrated.
By the end of the session, users will be able to:
– Access Ancestry Library Edition from their hosting library (or remotely until 12/31/2021)
– Successfully navigate the website
– Search for documents and other information
– Save results to either flash drive or send via email.
About the presenter: Kathryn Riedener is currently the Collections & Resources Coordinator for the Pioneer Library System located in Canandaigua, New York. She has been with Pioneer since 2005. She previously worked at the Avon Free Library as the Children’s Librarian. Kathryn has a personal interest in family and local history, and enjoys looking for information about her ancestors.
