RRLC is excited to announce its newest member service, Ask the HR Expert. This service is modeled after the very successful Ask the Lawyer service. RRLC, along with several other Councils, has retained HMN Resources, LLC, owned by Holly Nowak, for timely input on employee relations, research, and human resources document and policy development.
If you attended the ESLN New Sick Leave Law webinar on 1/13, then you have already been introduced to Ask the HR Expert and had a chance see Holly in action, alongside Stephanie Cole Adams (Ask the Lawyer).
Ask the HR Expert will work in tandem with Ask the Lawyer — if a question come into one service but is a better fit for the other service, it will be transferred. Please remember, if you are a school or public library, you are required to check with your library system first since they may already have the information you need. Also, if we feel your question has already been answered by either the Ask the Lawyer or Ask the HR Expert RAQs, we will direct you to those. If your inquiry is highly specific to your institution, we may request that you contract one-on-one with either Holly or Stephanie depending on the appropriate service.
Like Ask the Lawyer, this valuable service is currently provided at no cost to our members. That said, Ask the HR Expert is a pilot service, and we will evaluate its usage throughout the year to determine if it becomes a regular service of RRLC.
