Seneca Falls to Rochester, NY

Join us for a  weeklong navigational celebration along the Erie Canal/Votes for Women Trail. Rented canal boats (at least 3) will carry historical re-enactors and others from Seneca Falls to Rochester; boats will dock at towns and villages along the way, with programs at each stop; fireworks upon landing in Rochester Friday, July 21. The “Last Mile” of the route from Corn Hill Landing to the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House will be celebrated with a parade on Saturday, July 22.

The goals of VoteTilla are to promote the Votes for Women Trail, commemorate and celebrate the NYS woman suffrage centennial, promote the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House as the museum authority on SBA, promote the history of woman suffrage and its relevance today, engage communities (large and small) along the route, collaborate and educate.
