Mia Breitkopf joins St. John Fisher’s Lavery Library as Coordinator of Instruction and Research Services

Mia Breitkopf joined St. John Fisher’s Lavery Library on June 3, where she is now the Coordinator of Instruction and Research Services. In this new position, she will collaboratively lead instruction and research services alongside Lavery staff. Mia was previously working as a librarian at The College at Brockport, and moved to Rochester in 2015. Mia has also worked for The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and The Pew Charitable Trusts’ Philadelphia-based grantmaking initiative, The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. She has also been a K-12 music teacher. Mia earned her MLIS from Syracuse University’s iSchool in 2013. She loves teaching, and is “looking forward to welcoming students back to campus in the fall, and getting a chance to contribute to Lavery’s strong information literacy instruction programming, both in the classroom, and beyond.”
