RRLC has been proactive in recognizing the need to train librarians so they will be ready to assume library management and leadership positions as they become available. 

A 2009 leadership institute was offered in partnership with our Buffalo-area counterpart, the Western NY Library Resources Council. The classes were held between March and November 2009 and facilitated by Mauren Sullivan, a library consultant from Maryland. Meet our leaders and learn about their projects at:
