Backfiles to the Democrat & Chronicle include 1999- date. It is complete full-text content of local and regional news, including community events, schools, politics, government policies, cultural activities, local companies, state industries, and people in the community. Paid advertisements are excluded.

How to access the D & C:
Access is through the NOVELny gateway for your library or system.
Point your browser to the ProQuest Platinum link as set up by your library or system.
When in the ProQuest front end, click on the "Publications" tab at the top.
Enter "Democrat and Chronicle" in the search box, or click on "R" in the alphabetical list for
Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
